PINK TURNS BLUE

🦇 German post-punk legends PINK TURNS BLUE at Club Live & Loud, Sofia. Formed in Cologne in 1985, Pink Turns Blue are among the most important bands in the post-punk and gothic rock scene, alongside The Sisters of Mercy, The Cure and Bauhaus. Their debut album 'If Two Worlds Kiss' (1988) and hits like 'After All', 'Your Master Is Your Slave', 'Walking on the Wire', 'Michelle' and 'When the Hammer Falls' are genre classics. For fans of dark, melancholic and atmospheric music, the Pink Turns Blue show is a true experience.

📅 Date: October 2, 2026.

Why this concert matters

Pink Turns Blue sit on the post-punk and gothic rock line without becoming a Cure or Sisters of Mercy tribute. Cologne, 1985, the debut If Two Worlds Kiss, and a catalogue that still belongs in dark club rooms.

Live & Loud is the right scale: low, dense, no theatre distance. In a big hall this sound thins out. Here the bass and vocal sit in the middle of the room.

For anyone around Sisters of Mercy, Bauhaus and early goth, this is one of the rare headline dates in Sofia, not a festival afternoon slot.

What to expect from the set

After All, Walking on the Wire, Michelle, Your Master Is Your Slave and When the Hammer Falls are the likely posts. Around them, later material.

Do not expect a metal wall. Expect post-punk tempo, choruses and a darker mood than the hard-rock nights in the same club.

Practical information

Live & Loud is a standing club. For this genre a step off the stacks is often better than the rail.
